What is appointment scheduling?
Appointment scheduling allows you to manage your availability and people book time with you directly within Google Calendar via booking pages. You can use this with Exenai Video when sending a video message.
Check that you have Appointment Schedules enabled.
Click on the settings cog in your Google Calendar and scroll down or select Appointment Schedules in the menu.
You need to make sure that you have this enabled, as shown below.
Step 1: Set up your appointment schedule
Important: Checking availability on other calendars is only available for Google Workspace and Google One plans.
On a computer, open Google Calendar.
At the top left, click Create and then Appointment schedule
Enter a Title, for example "Introduction Call with {Your Name}"
The title appears on your calendar for schedules and bookings.
The title is visible to anyone who has the link to your booking page.
Set your appointment duration, click the down arrow
Appointments must be at least 5 minutes long.
Set the date, time, and time zone of your appointments.
You can set up a one-time appointment or a recurring schedule.
Tip: To add multiple time slots for a single day, click Add another period to this day.
Optional: Set how far in advance appointments can be booked, next to “Scheduling window,” click the down arrow and select from the following options:
Optional: Indicate times that differ from your general availability for specific dates. Learn about availability customization.
Optional: Select the buffer time between appointments and the maximum bookings that you accept per day.
Optional: If you subscribe to other calendars, to check your availability, select the boxes next to the calendars.
Optional: Select a colour for your appointment schedule.
Click Next.
Step 2: Set up your booking page
Important: Email verification is only available for eligible Google Workspace plans. For eligible Google Workspace and Google One plans, you can send up to 5 reminders before each appointment.
Review your booking page photo and name.
The photo is taken from your Google Account. Learn how to change your photo.
Select a location and conference options for the appointment:
Google Meet video conferencing
In-person meeting
Phone call
None / to be specified later
Add a description that explains the purpose of the meeting.
The description shows on your booking page and in confirmation emails.
Add fields for your attendees to fill out.
Attendees must provide their first and last name and email address.
To add more fields:
Click Add an item.
Click Phone number or Custom item.
Select if these fields are Required or Optional.
To prevent bots, click Require email verification.
Set up confirmation emails and reminders for your emails.
You can send up to 5 reminders.
Click Save.
Tips:
In Week view or any Day view, you can create or add availability to an appointment schedule when you click any time on your calendar. Click Appointment schedule in the window that appears.
New appointments appear on your primary calendar.
Step 3. Booking Page
When you have completed the steps above, you will see a pop up dialog with links to your booking page.
You can edit and or delete your appointment schedule from this dialog, or from your calendar.
Click on the Share button
Copy the Booking page link from this dialog, and paste it into Exenai Video to enable people to book a meeting with you.

Step 4. Working with Appointment Schedules
Appointment schedules are represented as blocks in your primary calendar, as shown in the image below.
You can click on any of these to edit and or delete the appointment schedule, which opens the same dialog as in shown in the previous step.
Appointment schedules work with available time in your calendar and will not offer time that is already booked by other meetings, tasks, focus time or out of office.
You can delete appointment schedule availability each day, based on this week, all weeks or all availability for all days.
Any shared links to appointment schedules that have been deleted, will show this message.
